Our social poker league is all about bringing people together through the love of Texas Hold'em. Whether you're a seasoned player or a beginner, we welcome all skill levels and provide a friendly, supportive atmosphere where you can improve your game, make new friends and have fun. 😊
At Sunshine Poker League, we're proud to be a part of the Bar Poker Open league, which offers free bar poker events across the nation. With plenty of opportunities to compete and advance to larger tournaments, we offer an exciting, yet safe, way to enjoy your love of poker without gambling. And if you're interested in winning big, we offer a chance to play at the Bar Poker Open $400,000 National Championship in Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget where the winner is walking away with $100,000!! 🎉

Since it costs the league and venues time and money to host these social poker nights and there is no buy-in or covers to join, we do strongly suggest for all players to please donate at least $5 an event towards keeping up with behind the scenes costs of keeping the league running. To reward and show thanks to all players participating, you will be entered in a monthly raffle drawing (every first of the month) where the random player chosen will win gift cards, SPL merch aaaand will also be entered in the end of the season drawing to win a seat into our Bar Poker Open National Championship in Florida or Vegas! For every $5 donated and for every 1,000 points earned during the season, you will be awarded with an extra raffle ticket towards the prizes! The league need your support! If you enjoy the perks this league has to offer, please be kind enough to donate whatever you can. We greatly appreciate any and all of your love and support in helping us to keep this league going! We are a also a mutual aid organization supporting each other and the communities we serve
though organizations like our own foundation, the United Way, Community Food
Drives, the Humane Society, CASA, Toys for Tots and many others. This is free
poker, but it takes resources for us to operate, and we really appreciate any
donations to help our league and foundation grow.

For the 1st time ever, SPL will be giving away 6 BPO seats to Vegas to the last 3 remaining teams!
Team up with a partner of your choice & compete for the Tag Team tournament championship!!
If you’re in the top 150 overall by January 10th, you’re invited! Remember, only one player out of the 2 needs to be in the top 150.. the other does not need to be but has to be a signed up SPL member that has played at least in one live event.
Compete with the best our league has to offer! Earn Plaques, Awards, Trophies, gift cards for both players, wearing the Sunshine Poker League’s Championship Belts & a shot at earning 6 seats to our 2025 Bar Poker Open World Championship!!
Even though the last 3 remaining teams earn seats, there will only be ONE Tag Team Champion! Do you have what it takes to know when to hold’em & when to fold’em?
Tag Team Tournament Rules:
Adding a little twist this tournament. Players will be divided into team A & team B. Both will play for the first 2 rounds
until break as you’re playing alone, then you’ll combine chips together & switch off as normal starting the 3rd blind level.
Play solid poker to maximize chips after break! Do not get knocked out before the 1st break leaving your partner high
& dry. After the 1st break, every player will have a partner and they will take turns playing every other blind level.
Players must be paired with a partner before the tournament begins. Each team will register just as they would on a normal main event and will be randomly assigned a seat.
Any player without a partner can be paired with other player that do not have a partner before the tournament begins.
No individual players will be allowed to play, everyone must
have a partner.
Each team will begin with 30,000 in total chips.
Blind levels will follow the extended main event structure.
Any team that has a player that has to leave early will have
to withdraw from the tournament completely.
All other regular league rules will apply!

As most of you that know, I love to help out the community in
any & every way possible, so I’ve decided to have a Toys for Tots drive to help the children of our community that are in need
to have a few toys this holiday season.
It will be going on for 2 entire weeks starting Dec 1st - 14th!
Any new & unwrapped toy you bring to any SPL participating venue, you will receive 500 extra bonus chips. Minimum of 1, maximum of 5. 1 toy for 100 chips, 5 toys, 500.
I believe this is a wonderful way to give back to the community
that we all reside in & love! I’m going to need the assistance & support of every single one of you! Please help your tournament directors throughout this promotion & THANK YOU in advance to
