Since our league is free to join, we do strongly suggest for all players to please donate at least $5 a month towards keeping up with behind the scenes costs of keeping the league running. To reward and show thanks to all players participating, you will be entered in a monthly raffle drawing (every first of the month) where the random player chosen will win SPL merch aaaand will also be entered in the end of the season drawing to win a seat into our Bar Poker Open National Championship in Florida or Vegas! For every $5 donated and for every 1,000 points earned during the season, you will be awarded with an extra raffle ticket towards the prizes! The league needs your support! We are in the process of starting a nonprofit called Sunshine Dreams Foundation! We want to make dreams come true for children who have physical, developmental or intellectual challenges whose families have limited income! With your donations & support, we can & will fulfill the dreams of such children in our community whether it’s a trip to Disneyland, Universal, or any of their favorite theme parks or amusement parks in California. They get to meet their favorite characters, enjoy the games & rides, and take in all the amazing sights & smile even for one day!
