Sunshine Poker League is all about bringing people together through the love of Texas Hold'em! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just learning the game, we offer a fun, friendly, and supportive space to improve your skills, make new friends, and enjoy great company.
As proud members of the Bar Poker Open, we host no buy-in poker events where you can play, compete, and even work your way up to the $400,000 National Championship in Las Vegas. Even if competition isn’t your thing, poker is a great way to boost your confidence, sharpen your thinking, and connect with others.

If you played in any of our events, you are invited to participate in our 2026 Tag Team Tournament! Compete with the best our league has to offer! Earn Plaques, Awards, Trophies for both players, wearing the Sunshine Poker League’s Championship Belts & of course a shot at earning 2 seats to our 2026 Bar Poker Open Championship in Vegas!! 🏵️🏵️
Top 3 teams earn seats.. possibly more depending on the turnout.
There will only be ONE Tag Team Champion! Do you have what it takes to know when to hold’em & when to fold’em?
Tag Team Tournament Rules:
This tournament will run as a normal SPL poker tournament with a twist! Each team member will play the first 2 levels separately & combine their chips at first break! After break, each player will take turns playing every other blind level.
Players must be paired with a partner before the tournament begins. Each team will register just as they would on a normal league night and will be randomly assigned a seat.
Any player without a partner can be paired with other players that do not have a partner before the tournament begins. No individual players will be allowed to play, everyone must have a partner.
Each player will begin with 30,000 in chips. Blind levels will follow the regular main event structure. Any team that has a player that has to leave early will have to withdraw from the tournament completely.
All other regular league rules will apply!
